Scanning a prescription

How the scanner reads your prescription, and why everything stays a draft until you confirm.

Take a clear photo

Lay the prescription flat, in good light, and photograph or upload it. Printed and handwritten prescriptions both work — clearer photos read better.

Review what it read

The scanner turns the prescription into a structured draft: each medicine with its dose, timing and duration. This draft is where you check its work.

You have the final word

Nothing becomes your schedule until you confirm it. Edit any medicine the scan got wrong — the draft exists precisely so mistakes can't slip through.

Safety by design

Medigent never alters what your doctor prescribed and never suggests changes. If something on a prescription seems wrong, ask your doctor — not an app.
