Refund & Cancellation Policy

Overview

MediGent is free and unlimited for patients, and free for a clinic’s core booking and records tools. The only thing a clinic ever pays for is AI credits — used for AI voice minutes, AI chat bookings, and phone number rental — purchased on-demand into the clinic’s wallet. This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for that wallet.

MediGent never holds, splits, or routes a patient’s consultation fee to a doctor — that money moves directly between patient and doctor, outside this platform, so it is outside the scope of this policy.

What you can buy

• AI credits — a digital wallet top-up, spent as calls are answered, AI bookings are made, or a number is rented. Credits are not a physical product and are not shipped (see our Shipping & Delivery Policy).
• Phone number rental — a recurring monthly charge for a dedicated clinic number, billed from the same wallet.

Cancellation

There is no subscription or lock-in to cancel — a clinic simply stops topping up its wallet whenever it likes. A rented phone number can be released from the Numbers tab of the dashboard at any time; rental for the current billing month is not pro-rated, but no further month is charged once released.

Refunds

AI credits are a prepaid, on-demand digital service: once a credit has been spent on a call, an AI booking, or a day of number rental, that usage is final and non-refundable, in line with how prepaid digital credits work across the industry.

Unused credits in a clinic’s wallet may be refunded on request, in full, at any time — write to info@medigent.in from the clinic’s registered email with the request.

Failed & duplicate payments

If a payment is deducted but credits are not added to the wallet (a gateway or bank error), or if the same top-up is charged twice, we refund the affected amount in full once confirmed — no request needed on your part if our systems catch it first, but you’re always welcome to flag it at info@medigent.in.

Mode & timeframe

All refunds are issued to the original payment method (the card, UPI ID, or netbanking account the payment was made from) via our payment gateway. Refunds are typically processed within 5–7 business days of approval; your bank or card network may take a few additional days to reflect it in your statement. MediGent does not issue refunds as store credit.
