How your data is protected
Encryption, isolation, the DPDP Act, and what Medigent will never do with your health data.
Encrypted and isolated
Your records are encrypted in transit and at rest, and isolated per patient at the database level. Another user — or another clinic — cannot see your data.
Built for the DPDP Act
Medigent is built for India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023: consent-based processing, purpose limitation, and your right to your own data.
Portable, not locked in
Records export to FHIR R4, the international health-data standard — your health history is never locked into a private format.
What we never do
Medigent does not sell health data, does not show ads against it, and takes no money from patients. The clinic subscription is the business model — your data is not.
